CSR – Specialty Sugars

CSR has released 3 new Specialty sugars:

  • Unrefined Coconut – harvested using traditional methods, Unrefined Coconut Sugar retains the nutrients naturally found in the nectar of the coconut blossom. Being unrefined, it also includes essential minerals such as potassium, zinc, calcium and iron. Perfect alternative to white, raw or palm sugar adding a unique depth of flavour and subtle caramel and butterscotch notes – 100% natural – Organically grown and sustainably farmed – GI value up to 10 points lower than raw sugar
  • Muscovado – with a dark colour and aroma from its natural molasses content, Muscovado has robust notes of bittersweet toffee and treacle. It adds a luscious depth to baked goods, with its intensely decadent flavour and moist texture. With a fine crystal size similar to caster sugar, it can be used in both sweet and savoury dishes – 100% Product of Australia – Perfect for Rich chocolate cakes, brownies, fruit cake, glazes & marinades – Rich molasses content to keep cakes moist and dense
  • Rapadura – an unrefined sugar which is harvested by cane farmers. The water is evaporated from the cane juice until it crystallises, meaning that the sugar is truly unrefined. The molasses content in the sugar cane gives Rapadura Sugar its golden colour and delicate caramel flavour which means more of the natural nutrients remain – Made from evaporated cane juice meaning it is truly unrefined – Rich in caramel flavour – Perfect for syrups, beverages, cakes and raw desserts
