Capilano – Drought & Bushfire Relief Honey

Capilano’s new Drought & Bushfire Relief honey pack has been released in support of beekeepers who have seen their bees suffer, honey production plummet, and incomes slide for many months due to ongoing drought and bushfire.

20 cents from the sale of every Capilano Drought & Bushfire Relief pack will be donated directly to Rural Aid’s Hive Aid campaign to help support Aussie beekeepers.

Aussie beekeepers are enduring some of the worst conditions in memory from relentless drought and destructive bushfires, and the impact of these events will continue to be felt for many years to come. The harsh reality is, professional beekeepers are often overlooked when it comes to the effects of drought, bushfire and other natural disasters. Yet they are the cornerstone of our agricultural industry, helping to pollinate important food crops for both humans and livestock in addition to producing delicious honey from Australia’s rugged bushland.
