Miguel Maestre – Spanish Cake Range

Australia’s favourite Spanish-born chef, Miguel Maestre, has announced that he and his team at Maestre Enterprises, are releasing their new range of Spanish gourmet cakes in Woolworths, based on Miguel’s mother’s cake recipes.

The first 2 Spanish cakes announced are:

• Bizcocho Borracho De Naranja (Spanish Orange Syrup Cake) – made with Australian oranges – a moist Orange Cake with a sweet and tangy flavour, glazed with orange syrup – originally from the south of Spain – 900gm

• Tarta De Queso Vasca (Basque Burnt Cheesecake) – a traditional Spanish Burnt Cheesecake originally from the Basque region – 1kg
