Australia’s oldest dairy – Brownes Dairy, has launched the only WA-made cheddar cheese, made at their heritage-listed Creamery in Brunswick using fresh local WA milk, old-style cheddaring techniques and a long and slow maturation process.

• Mature WA Cheddar – Matured 12 Months – a balanced, rich flavoured traditional cheddar with smooth, firm body, perfect for everyday enjoyment – 400gm – ∼$8.00 and 740gm – ∼$11.00

• Vintage Aged Cheddar – Heritage Reserve, Aged for 24 Months – sharp, slightly fruity and acidic in taste with well-balanced flavour, characteristically crumbly texture – 200gm – ∼$8.00
